Casual Showroom Sales Consultant (3-5 Days | Basic Pay + Commission | Weekend Rotation)

Location: Prahran, Victoria 3181
Hours: 3-5 days per week, including availability to work Saturday and Sunday

Pay Rates:

Monday – Friday: $40 per hour

Saturday: $50 per hour

Sunday: $60 per hour

This role includes sales targets and commission incentives. Outstanding performance may lead to a full-time opportunity.

We are looking for a customer-focused retail sales professional to join our team and assist retail customers in choosing the perfect lighting for their spaces.

The Role

As a Casual Showroom Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for retail customers, guiding them through our product selection and helping them make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist retail customers in the showroom, understanding their lighting needs and recommending the best solutions

Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and applications

Work towards sales targets with commission incentives

Prepare quotes and process sales using our CRM and POS systems

Maintain a well-organised and visually appealing showroom

Stay updated on lighting trends and product innovations

Support the team with customer inquiries, quoting, and showroom tasks

Ensure an exceptional shopping experience by delivering high-quality customer service

Follow up with potential customers to assist in their decision-making process

What We’re Looking For:

Proven retail sales experience (lighting, furniture, or home décor preferred)

Confidence in engaging with customers and driving sales outcomes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Interest in lighting, interiors, or home improvement

Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a showroom setting

Comfortable using CRM systems and point-of-sale tools

Available 1–2 days during the week and weekends (some weeks may require both Saturday & Sunday)

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving retail environment
