About the role

Monash House Private Hospital is seeking experienced Theatre Technicians to join our team on a part-time or casual basis. As a Theatre Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surgical teams and ensuring the smooth running of our operating theatres. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art private hospital setting in the heart of Clayton, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and set up operating theatres for surgical procedures

Assist the surgical team during operations by anticipating their needs and providing equipment and supplies as required

Ensure the proper maintenance of theatre equipment

Restock and organize theatre supplies and materials

Maintain a clean, safe and organized theatre environment

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures and infection control protocols

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications and experience as a Theatre Technician or similar role in a hospital or surgical setting

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with medical staff

Proficient in the use of theatre equipment

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control

Flexibility to work a range of shifts Monday to Friday
