SH Metal Roofing is looking for an energetic individual interested in completing a Metal Roofing apprenticeship.

MATURE AGED APPLICANTS AND 1ST OR 2ND YEAR APPRENTICES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

This applicant should be keen to work and learn new skills in a high-demand industry with a professional and friendly crew in the Cairns local area.

Above Award wages include a paid lunch break, plus a daily travel allowance and all other applicable allowances.

Some tools will be made available depending on skill level and the applicants demonstration of commitment to the job and the ability to work as part of the team.

The right applicant will have a company vehicle available after a suitable probationary period.

We are currently servicing commercial sectors ranging from re-roofs, new roofs and large maintenance works focusing on the local Cairns area (Palm Cove – Edmonton), with several large upcoming projects.

The candidate MUST:

Have their own vehicle and drivers licence.

Have a current Construction Card.

Working at Heights ticket preferred.

Be fit and healthy and will to be a hands-on member of our professional team.

Be consistently punctual and have a positive work ethic.

Have a high committment to worker safety and WPH&S procedures.
