Position: Bar Manager
Role Overview
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing bar and gaming operations to ensure a smooth, safe, and customer-focused experience. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily bar and gaming operations, ensuring excellent service.
Lead and support bar and gaming staff, fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, licensing laws, and gaming regulations.
Help manage stock.
Maintain accurate cash handling and reconciliation processes.
Deliver strong customer service in both bar and gaming areas.
Monitor and maintain venue standards for cleanliness, presentation, and safety.
Support venue promotions, events, and community initiatives.
Report on gaming and bar performance and work with management on strategies to improve trade.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a hospitality venue.
Strong knowledge of bar operations, products, and service standards.
Thorough understanding of gaming operations, compliance, and customer care.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven ability with stock control, cash handling, and compliance reporting.
Current RSA and RCG certification.

Role Overview
As part of our bar team, you’ll be the face of the venue — serving drinks, chatting with customers, and helping to create a welcoming, fun atmosphere. You’ll work across both the bar, dining and gaming areas, delivering excellent service while keeping everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Serve drinks (beer, wine, spirits, cocktails) quickly and professionally.
Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude.
Assist customers in the gaming lounge and ensure compliance with RCG.
Keep the floor clean and inviting.
Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
Keep the bar and service areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
Follow RSA and RCG guidelines at all times.
Support the team during busy shifts, functions, and events.
What We’re Looking For
Positive, outgoing personality with great communication skills.
Previous bar, dining, gaming, or hospitality experience.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Current RSA (and RCG if working in gaming) required.
