We are hiring a Full-time Cabler (Data and Telecommunications) to join our growing team in Western Australia.

This role offers the opportunity to work across various sites in Perth and regional WA, contributing to a wide range of telecommunications projects.

About the Role

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals with strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates with telecommunications industry experience will be highly regarded.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant local industry experience

• Ability and willingness to travel to regional WA worksites

• White Card

• Current WA Driver’s License

• Police Clearance (receipt must be provided prior to starting)

• NBN Enable Card

• First Aid / CPR Certification

• ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) awareness/license is an advantage

• Right To Work in Australia

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities:

• Connecting wires and cables to appliances and related equipment.

• Laying and configuring cabling for telephone, radio, pay TV and computer transmission.

• Setting up telecommunications devices and systems such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment.

• Splicing and sealing cables and sealing sheaths with lead and thermoplastic.

• Fiber Installation (Preparation, handling hygiene & termination of Ribbon & Multi-core fiber).

• Integration of Telecommunication equipment.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in telecommunications equipment using precision instruments such as ohmmeters, volt meters, ammeters and transmission measuring equipment.

• Servicing and restoring faulty components, carrying out replacements or adjustments and verifying performances with electronic instruments.

• Constructing, testing, and maintaining aerial and underground cable systems, as well as radio and mobile phone antennae.

• Safety & Quality Inspections & Non-Conformance Reporting.
