We’re seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join an Agile team on a 12-month contract and help strengthen their test automation capability.

In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers, business analysts, product owners, and other QAs to ensure the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable solutions. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact millions of customers, while enhancing your expertise in modern test practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and execute automation frameworks with a focus on Playwright

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional squads

Contribute to test planning, test data creation, defect management, and release processes

Perform both automated and some manual testing where required

Champion quality and best practices across the delivery lifecycle

Skills & Experience

Essential:

3–4 years’ experience in QA automation

1–2 years’ experience with Playwright

Exposure to manual testing in Agile environments

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, banking, insurance)

Nice-to-have:

Accessibility testing

Visual regression testing

Cross-browser/device testing

Shift-left testing (storybook review, PACT)
