Ridgeway Catering is the exclusive caterer at 2 stunning Gold Coast wedding venues - The Wynmere Estate & Kwila Lodge as well as catering to dozens more at other locations around the Gold Coast & Hinterland. As well as catering for 150 weddings per year, we also cater for high end luxury brands & corporate events. We have a strong focus on creating inspiring & truly memorable events for our guests.

We are looking to expand our kitchen team with an experienced superstar Chef. At times this may be working within a team or solo, so a strong work ethic is required.

In this role you will create memorable experiences for our guests through:

Execution of preparation of recipes to the highest standards for the section and others when necessary

Ensuring a consistent high quality in the preparation and presentation of all kitchen products

Preparation and presentation of menu items showing variety and flair, within the cost margins specified by the Executive Chef

Assisting the Executive Chef with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service

Ability to adapt in different kitchen environments

Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Oversee the efficient and timely delivery of meals for events and functions

If our role interests you and you are able to demonstrate the following:

Previous experience in a similar role and environment.

Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery Certificate lll or higher.

At least 2 years experience in a similar role & style of kitchen..

Excellent organizational skills & grooming standards.

Car license is required as our events are all over the Gold Coast.

The role is available in either a casual, part-time or full-time capacity to suit your lifestyle. Rosters will vary from week to week depending on the event schedule.
