About the role

Join the dynamic team at Grand Motors Mechanical & Smash Repairs' as a full-time Light Vehicle Mechanic. Working in our state-of-the-art workshop in Campbellfield, Victoria, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, service and repair a variety of light vehicles including cars, utes and vans

Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and wheel alignments

Perform more complex repairs on engines especially accidental cars, transmissions, suspension and electrical systems

Use the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve technical issues

Maintain detailed records of all work completed including service logs

Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients to ensure their satisfaction

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience as a qualified light vehicle mechanic

Strong practical skills and technical knowledge of light vehicle systems and components

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities

Proficient in using computerised diagnostic equipment and workshop tools

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively in a team environment

Current valid Australian driver's licence (manual transmission preferred)

Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa
