Langford Support Services is seeking dedicated and reliable Female Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Home in South Hobart supporting a group of nine participants with the assistance of a dedicated team of support staff.
This recruitment round will follow a Fast-Track, Invitation-Only Interview process to quickly fill urgent roster vacancies.

Shift Requirements
Applicants must be available for a mix of shifts including:
Sleepover shifts: 3:00pm–11:00pm + Sleepover + 7:00am–9:30am
Morning shifts: 6:00am–9:00am, 7:00am–10:00am
Day shifts: 9:00am–3:00pm
Evening shifts: 2:30pm–10:30pm, 3:30pm–7:30pm
Weekend coverage (day, evening and sleepovers)

Your Role & Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered and active support tailored to each participant’s goals.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, meal preparation and household tasks.
Support participants in social and recreational activities within the community.
Implement individualized care plans and support strategies.
Ensure a safe, respectful and empowering environment for participants.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and progress.
Flexibility to work split shifts and overnight sleepovers is essential.
What You Bring:
Confidence in supporting adults with complex needs and diverse abilities
A strong understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safety framework and NDIS Code of Conduct.
Experience supporting clients during sleepover and early morning shifts.
Practical experience in person-centered and active support models.
Ability to provide support during overnight sleepover shifts.
Experience in team collaboration, supervision and conflict resolution.
Strong time management, administrative, and computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
A resilient and adaptable approach to changing priorities and participant needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Female candidate (participant preference and roster needs)
At least 5 plus years of disability support work experience
Right to Work in Australia (Citizen/PR or Visa with work rights)
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a willingness to obtain it.
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and NDIS Orientation Module Completion.
Current Medication, Healthy Bodies, Manual Handling, First Aid & CPR Certification. Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check with NDIS endorsement.
National Police Check (less than six months old).
A valid Australian driver’s license (preferred).
Availability for flexible shifts - early mornings, split shifts, weekends and sleepovers
