About the Role

Reporting to the President of the Board, the Project & Operations Manager will:

Lead daily operations and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage and support staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.

Deliver innovative aged care and community projects, ensuring they meet client needs and funding obligations.

Oversee budgets, grants and financial reporting, including preparation of funding applications.

Provide strategic advice to the Board on sector reforms, risk management and organisational performance.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, service providers, funders and clients.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Extensive experience in the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of aged care reforms.

Demonstrated skills in operational leadership, project management and compliance reporting.

Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, acquittals and grant applications.

Proven ability to lead and develop staff and volunteers in a values-driven environment.

High-level communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Confidence with IT systems and aged care reporting portals (My Aged Care, DEX, SharePoint, MS Office).

Integrity, accountability and the ability to work autonomously under limited direction.

Highly desirable:

Conversational Italian or experience working with Italo-Australian or multicultural communities.

Experience in fundraising and community engagement initiatives.
