European Window Co. has been setting the benchmark in premium window and door manufacturing since 1981. We specialise in high-performance aluminium, steel, and brass thermal break systems, delivering to some of Australia’s most prestigious residential projects.

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our Melbourne factory operations. Reporting to the Executive General Manager, this senior role is responsible for overseeing a team of 10 fabricators, managing daily workflow and scheduling, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

The Production Manager will work closely with planning and procurement to ensure material readiness, cutting lists, and prototypes are prepared for seamless handover into manufacturing. This role requires a hands-on leader with excellent people management skills, a strong quality focus, and the ability to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in a custom manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop the factory team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

Own daily production scheduling, task allocation, and throughput across multiple product lines.

Maintain quality assurance systems, inspections, and sign-off procedures.

Partner with planning and procurement to ensure readiness of materials and documentation.

Drive improvements in workflow, efficiency, safety and lean practices

Manage prototypes R&D and complex assemblies for high-end architectural projects.

Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven leadership in window/door fabrication or related manufacturing.

Strong ability to manage and motivate teams of 8–15 staff.

Hands-on leadership style with strong scheduling and problem-solving skills.

Experience with quality window systems and continuous improvement practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with precision and attention to detail.
