This is an exceptional opportunity for a Associate Architect to join a practice built entirely on referral-based work and reputation for excellence in multi-residential design and delivery.

This permanent full-time role offers the chance to take on significant responsibility in signing off on Construction Certificate phases across Class 2 buildings, while working with a collaborative team on a diverse portfolio ranging from large-scale apartment blocks to boutique residential developments.

In the role of an Associate Architect, we require you to have the following experience as a minimum:

Registered Architect in NSW

Design Practitioner registration

8-15+ years post-qualification experience in Australian architecture practice

Extensive Class 2 building experience and deep knowledge of multi-residential projects

Proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential

Strong Construction Certificate (CC) phase experience with ability to sign off on documentation

Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and project deliverables

Full working rights in Australia

Key Responsibilities:

Sign off on Construction Certificate phases across Class 2 multi-residential buildings

Lead and oversee all phases of multi-residential apartment block projects from concept to completion

Produce high-quality design and construction documentation using ArchiCAD

Manage project deliverables and coordinate with consultants, builders, and certification bodies

Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations for Class 2 buildings

Mentor and guide junior team members across various project phases

Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the practice's referral-based growth

Oversee quality control and technical reviews of construction documentation for you to sign off

Skills & Experience:

8-15+ years of architectural experience in Australia, with significant focus on Class 2 multi-residential projects

Registered Architect and Design Practitioner in NSW

Expert knowledge of Class 2 building requirements, BCA compliance, and multi-residential design standards

Proven track record in Construction Certificate phases and construction documentation

Advanced ArchiCAD proficiency with ability to produce comprehensive documentation packages

Strong understanding of Australian building codes, planning requirements, and construction methodologies

Experience across project scales from large apartment blocks to smaller residential developments

Excellent project management skills and ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams

Strong communication skills and proven ability to work with clients, consultants, and construction teams

Detail-oriented approach with commitment to design quality and technical excellence
