About the business and the role

Excess Power Equipment (EPE) is a leading supplier of Australian power distribution equipment.

Our operation, based in Maddington, provides consultation, design, procurement, construction and maintenance of specialist high voltage equipment.

The Role

We require an Electrical Trades Assistant for immediate start at our site in Maddington, the role is workshop based. The role will be responsible for:

Assisting trades with the repair, refurbishment and assessment of HV transformers.

Assisting trades with the construction and assessment of HV & LV distribution equipment such as kiosks, switchboards, bunded transformer solutions and RMU stands.

Occasional repair, maintenance and assessment of HV equipment on site.

Experience

Completed an OH&S induction White Card preferred or be willing to obtain.

Forklift, EWP and Working at heights preferred or be willing to obtain.

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics is highly regarded but not essential.

Ability to work at heights.

Transformer experience is highly regarded and experience in the mining sector is preferred but not essential.

Experience using hand/power tools is required.
