A new and exciting opportunity is waiting for a highly experienced early childhood education and care service Coordinator in the North Carlton Area.
The role will encompass the coordination of the Team leadership of Yarra's North Carlton Children's Centre and Princes Hill Kindergarten.
North Carlton Children's Centre is licensed for 89 places for children aged 0-5 years, and Princes Hill Kindergarten is licensed for 25 places, providing 3 & 4 Year old Sessional Kinder.
The pedagogy and practice in our services are founded on the values of inclusion, voice of the child, trauma informed practice, environmental sustainability and meeting the individual needs of children and families.
To support the team of highly dedicated educators, the Precinct Coordinator will sit within a leadership team, supported by:
- A full-time off the floor Precinct Team Leader
- A full-time off the floor Precinct Educational Leader
- A full-time Early Learning Precinct admin support
The Precinct Coordinator also works as part of the broader team in the Yarra Family, Youth and Children's Services Branch.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience in the operations of Education and Care services
- Excellent financial and business skills
- Excellent ability in managing time, setting priorities, planning and organising one's own work
- Extensive experience with effectively managing a large number of direct and indirect reports
- Excellent oral communication and ability to adjust communicate style to suit the need of the audience
Qualifications and experience required:
- Substantial Experience (5-10 years) in managing education and care services
- A tertiary qualification in early childhood – minimum diploma level
- Current first aid in and education and care service
- Driver’s Licence
