The Company:

Sirromet Wines is a fresh and vibrant family owned and operated winery located at Mt Cotton just 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and the Northern end of the Gold Coast. On site you will find a state of the art winery production facility, fine dining restaurant, Cellar Door with a vibrant café, glamping style accommodation, functions and event facilities. The role:

As a valued member of the Sirromet team, your aim is to ensure all public areas of the property and outdoor food areas are cleaned to a 5-star standard to assist with making our guests experience even more memorable. You will also ensure that our facilities are always clean and tidy and ultimately compliment the high quality food, wine and entertainment Sirromet Wines represents and offers to every customer.

This is a permanent part-time position, working approx. 20 hours per week, with an option for a more hours in the future.

Your key tasks during your shift might include:

Mopping

Cleaning of facilities

Polishing glass

Dusting

Vacuuming

Replenish sanitation stations and ensure these are always kept hygienically clean

Maintain and clean all areas to a very high standard including but not limited to:

Entrances

Stairs & Corridors

Reception and office areas

Functions areas

F&B outlets

What we are looking for:

To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

Experience in a similar role is a major advantage but not essential

Must be available to start work as early as 5am on weekdays, weekends and public holidays (we offer some flexibility with your desired hours and the successful applicant can attract higher weekend penalty rates if that suits their schedule!)

Excellent communication skills

Must be flexible

Willing to undertake a variety of cleaning tasks

Highly organised and able to multi-task

Punctual and reliable

Must present well

Keen eye for detail

Must possess a friendly and engaging personality

Physically fit as at times this is a high intensity role

Own reliable transport as there is no public transport to our premises
