$51–$54.39 per hour + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging (up to $18,550)
Your role, your impact
As a Senior Worker in our Integrated Therapeutic Community (ITC), you’ll play a vital leadership role supporting young people aged 12–25 with significant mental health and complex support needs. You’ll lead and empower a team of youth and family workers, helping young people achieve their recovery goals in a trauma-informed, youth-focused, and inclusive environment.
You’ll provide direct support through case management, therapeutic group work, individual and family counselling, and help build a vibrant, connected community. Your leadership will ensure our service is innovative, strengths-based, and responsive to the needs of young people and their families.
How you’ll contribute
Lead, support, and empower a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, youth-focused mental health support.
Provide direct support to young people through case management, group work, and counselling.
Build a positive, inclusive, and innovative community environment.
Guide and supervise staff, fostering professional growth and a culture of learning.
Drive service integration across Each’s youth and family services and external partners.
Work flexibly across Box Hill South, Wantirna South, and community/outreach settings, including after-hours on-call support.
What you’ll need to succeed
Tertiary qualification in social work or a relevant discipline.
Extensive experience working therapeutically with young people and families, especially in mental health, trauma, or complex needs.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
Strong understanding of youth development, trauma-informed practice, and therapeutic community models.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Current Victorian driver’s licence and willingness to use own vehicle (with appropriate insurance).

Reports to: Team Leader – Integrated Therapeutic Community (ITC)
Key stakeholders: Young people and families, ITC team, Each internal programs (including Youth Outreach Recovery Support), and external community partners.
