Our operations are virtual but engaged with our team working remotely up and down the eastern seaboard of Australia meeting daily for WIP meetings and interacting constantly throughout the day. Our directors are two senior highly experienced individuals who are passionate about digital and achieving amazing outcomes for our clients. Our office is in South Melbourne in an inspiring coworking space for quarterly face to face workshop days and it is well connected to public transport.
Position Overview
We are looking to bring in a person at an entry level. Someone to train up into our existing systems and processes who wants a career helping to us deliver the best websites, mobile apps, ai agents and digital resources in the country. There is a lot listed, you will build knowledge and specialise over time. Features of the role:

Infrastructure & environments
Manage development, staging, and production environments (including associated database servers).
Monitor CPU/GPU, memory, disk, and network across systems; keep an eye on capacity and performance.
Handle general server administration: patching, software installation, user/access management.
Manage SSL/TLS certificates and DNS (issuance, renewal, cutovers).
Maintain and provision virtual machines; set up new servers/VMs/software; keep infra docs current.
Investigate and implement automation for repetitive tasks (scripts/jobs/pipelines).
Respond to incidents, triage/escalate appropriately, and drive post-incident improvements.
Debug application/environment issues using logs, metrics, and tracing.
CI/CD, release & code management
Test pre-release code and validate release candidates.
Document features and bug fixes for upcoming releases; contribute to release notes.
Update/refine installation scripts for CMS modules where applicable.
Package code for release and prepare release databases.
Update installation/upgrade documentation so others can follow it repeatably.
Perform install/upgrade of CMS/DXP instances with new release packages.
Push automation further: upgrades, deployments, smoke tests, and rollback paths.
Tooling & stack you’ll touch
Platforms: Acora CMS/DXP (ASP.NET → .NET Core MVC), Kentico DXP (.NET Core v8 MVC), plus hosted OSS like WordPress, Matomo Analytics, Rocket.Chat, SuiteCRM, Cloudron.
Servers/DBs: Windows Server/IIS and Linux (Nginx/Apache); SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
Version control: SVN (and Git where applicable).
Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash; CI pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/other).
Observability: System logs/metrics/alerts; uptime and error monitoring.
We monitor and support systems 24/7 and there may be some after hours support during peak periods or as holiday cover.

About You
This role would suit aspiring CI/CD managers, or DevOps engineers with the desire to create outstanding contribute to our clients businesses, delivering client focused systems.
You have a strong attention to detail – identifying issues and resolving problems in the code.
You have the ability to follow company processes which have been developed and verified over many years. But at the same time have the capability to contribute to their enhancement and improvement over time. We operate on a champion challenger model. Required - Essential Criteria
This is an entry level position and as such we are open to anyone with the following qualification and personal qualities
3 year Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Equivalent experience through relevant certifications, bootcamps, or demonstrable self-taught skills will also be considered.

Experience building or maintaining websites and/or apps
Experience in documentation and testing of software
Experience working with version control systems
Experience working with Microsoft hosting environments & Web server maintenance experience
Database skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
HTML 5 / CSS / JavaScript coding skills and an eagerness to learn
Experience working in .Net Core with MVC development methodologies
Experience with Python
Experience with AI prompt engineering, LLM configuration, or workflow tools
Experience building dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
