DevOps Engineer

Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and modern infrastructure? this is an opportunity to shape a modern, scalable, and secure infrastructure. You'll be the go to expert for automating deployment pipelines and building IaC , with a heavy focus on GitLab and Terraform.

What you'll do:

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure with Terraform.
• Work closely with development and architecture teams to improve deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure the reliability of critical systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer with strong skills in GitLab and Terraform.
• A solid understanding of CI/CD frameworks and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of API gateways (like Kong) or SAP environments is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to enable efficient code integration and deployment.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and platform teams to streamline the release process and improve system reliability.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, optimise workflows, and ensure high availability of critical services.
• Support the integration and automation of monitoring, security, and compliance controls.
• Work on containerisation, orchestration, and modern infrastructure practices to support application scalability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, tooling, and delivery frameworks.

MORE ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, with strong hands-on skills in GitLab pipelines and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure automation, CI/CD frameworks, and deployment best practices.
• Familiarity with API management platforms such as Kong, and exposure to SAP landscapes will be considered a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and integration tasks.
