We're Hiring: Barista at Infuse Coffee Roasters

Infuse Coffee Roasters is a family-owned specialty coffee roastery in Burnie, and we’re hiring a part-time and/or casual Barista to join our Roastery/Espresso Bar. Our business was established in 2010 and we have been at our current location in a cottage in South Burnie since 2012.

At Infuse Coffee, we are passionate about giving our customers an exceptional experience in our espresso bar. We are also a working coffee roaster and have many wholesale customers. As well as working in the espresso bar, your role would include processing and packaging orders for collection by our couriers.

• Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and occasional Saturdays.

• Barista experience in a high volume, fast-paced setting or have some barista experience which can be expanded on.

• Be able to work calmly, quickly, and methodically under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service for our customers at all times.

Position Details

Working as a member of our team, you'll be engaging with our customers to provide exceptional service and creating great coffee.

• Role: Casual. After a probation period, a permanent position may be available.

• Hours: Our opening hours are 7am until 2pm Mon to Fri and 8am – 12 Sat (closed Sunday) & work hours vary between 6.45 – 2.15pm Mon to Fri; 7.45 – 12.15 Sat

• Pay rate: pay rates are set by the Fastfood Industry Award. The 2025-26 base hourly pay rate for level 1 full or part time adults is $26.55 (Saturday $33.19) and for casual adults $33.19 (Saturday $39.83)
