GP West Medical Group is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis, providing coverage across our 17 accredited medical centers in Perth.

We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and adaptable receptionist who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable working across multiple locations.

As the first point of contact for our patients, doctors, and allied health providers, you will:

Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional approach

Manage a busy phone system and respond to patient enquiries

Book appointments and update patient records accurately

Generate invoices, receive payments, and process Medicare claims

Maintain doctors’ schedules and bookings

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and ad hoc administrative tasks

Support team members and respond promptly to doctors’ requests

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a medical receptionist in a busy practice

Ability to work across multiple sites and travel to different center's

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with Best Practice software preferred

Excellent communication skills and professional phone manner

Ability to multi-task, priorities, and work efficiently under pressure

Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
