We're currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday). Based on Brisbane’s Southside (Logan and surrounding suburbs), this role involves:
Overseeing a transition home for new NDIS participants to ensure their clinical and general healthcare needs are met
Providing clinical care to current and future participants, in the following areas:
Complex Bowel Care
Complex Wound Management
Diabetes Management
Enteral Feeding (PEG/NG Tube)
Epilepsy Management
Dysphagia
Subcutaneous Injections
Tracheostomy Care
Medication Administration
Incontinence Assessment
Training and mentoring support staff in routine clinical procedures
Facilitating hospital-to-home transitions, including initial assessments
Developing and reviewing care plans
Conducting health audits to ensure compliance with NDIS standards and clinical governance
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Supervising support staff within transition housing
Managing staff rosters
Stakeholder engagement
About You
You thrive in community and home-based care settings and appreciate the opportunity to provide meaningful care without the high-pressure environment of hospitals or aged care facilities. You are passionate about supporting individuals with physical disabilities and mental health challenges to live fulfilling lives. You also bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience
Previous experience in NDIS, disability, or community care settings
Strong understanding of NDIS clinical requirements
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and train others effectively
A valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (this role will involve frequent travel)
Availability for Monday to Friday day shifts
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR certification
Full working rights in Australia (this role is not suitable for international students)
