- $116,000 to $130,000 + 15.4 Super

About the role:
The project team has developed a multi-mode methodology and evidence-informed online survey for young people. The Assistant Director supports the Director in moving the study from the development stage into implementation. Key aspects of the role include stakeholder engagement and delivery of project milestones including survey implementation and report delivery.
Key capabilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Experience in project management and implementation
- Demonstrated understanding of research activities and experience with data collection and analysis.
- Highly developed writing skills, including reports and strategic briefings.
- Demonstrated understanding of child safe research approaches and research ethics and ability to safeguard young people participating in the survey through the use of relevant frameworks, policies and legislation.
- Must be able to work independently and be comfortable working with sensitive data
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in project implementation.
- Ability to manage staff and resources effectively (where required) and respond flexibly to changing work demands.
- Demonstrated experience managing quantitative data research process
- Demonstrated experience in user research and implementation of large-scale survey research.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse complex issues.
- Demonstrated experience in complex stakeholder engagement and consultation.
- Ability to communicate with all stakeholders with respect, empathy, and discretion utilising a trauma-informed approach
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills including a demonstrated ability to communicate confidently, persuasively, sensitively and articulately, on matters relevant to the delivery of identified strategic priorities.
