Pasta Deli is currently seeking a casual Patisserie Baker who has a passion for producing high quality fresh products , also has a proven background, individuality and flair in patisserie. This company believes in offering the highest level of customer service and therefore seeks individuals who will share these same values. Hours are flexible and can be discussed on application.

This position involves:

Baking a variety of products with a focus on European continental pastries and cakes

Be innovative and creative.

Applicants must be competent in Patisserie techniques.

Prepare and bake a variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, be able to work with strict hygiene guidelines and follow all food safety regulations.

Work closely with the kitchen team to create new and innovative menu items.

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.

Manage baking schedules and ensure that all items are fresh and ready for service.

Assist in inventory management and ordering ingredients as needed.

The successful candidates will have the following attributes:

Proven experience as a Patisserie/Baker in a fast-paced kitchen environment (desired but not essential).

Passion for baking with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
