About Avivo

We work in partnership with people and families who need individualized support services due to disability, ageing or mental ill-health. Our Support Workers work alongside people from all walks of life giving, helping them live life the way they choose.

The role:

We're looking for Support Workers to join our Tuart Hill and Nollamara teams. These roles involve providing a mix of personal care, domestic support, and community participation.

Team Tuart Hill

• Due to the personal care needs of the customer, this role requires a female Support Worker
• The ability to speak Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, or Macedonian is essential to meet the customer's communication needs
• Availability Monday–Thursday between 8am–6pm is critical (Friday availability preferred)
• 10 hours per fortnight offered which will increase over the first two months

Team Nollamara

• Due to the personal care needs of the customer, this role requires a female Support Worker
• Must have clear and confident English communication skills to meet the customer's needs
• Availability Monday–Friday 8am–7:30pm, plus up to 2 hours on a Saturday or Sunday
• 15 hours per week offered which will increase over the first two months

What you'll do:

• Provide personal care, including showering
• Assisting with domestic tasks essential to daily living
• Deliver community and social support
• Administer medication
• Work with ageing customers and individuals living with disability

What you need:

• Valid Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle this role involves travel
• A satisfactory NDIS Clearance check or willingness to obtain
