We have two roles available - Fabrication Supervisor and Machining & Fitting Supervisor - based at Orontide’s state-of-the-art facility at the AMC Henderson. Both positions are hands-on leadership roles, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery for Tier 1 clients.
What You'll Be Doing:

Fabrication Supervisor

• Lead day-to-day operations in the fabrication workshop
• Plan, allocate, and supervise resources to deliver on time and budget
• Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
• Oversee fabrication across carbon/stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel, CuNi, Duplex/Super Duplex
• Supervise fabrication of tanks, hoppers, pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural frames & rolling stock repairs
• Drive continuous improvement and mentor a skilled fabrication team

Machining & Fitting Supervisor

• Manage CNC and conventional machining operations
• Oversee high-precision turning, boring, and milling
• Handle large-scale components (up to 10 tonnes, 4m diameter, 10m length)
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and troubleshoot production issues
• Liaise with operations and project teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Uphold strict safety and quality standards while coaching workshop staff

What You'll Need

• Relevant Trade Qualifications (Boilermaker/Welder, Fitter Machinist, Mechanical Fitter, or Fabrication-related discipline)
• Leadership & Supervision training – proven ability to lead and mentor teams
• Solid knowledge of safety and compliance standards (ISO & legislative requirements)
• Strong CNC machining knowledge (for Machining Supervisor) or proven fabrication/pressure vessel experience (for Fabrication Supervisor)
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Reliability in planning, reporting, and delivering results
