Locum Physiotherapist – Aged Care & Rehab Focus
📍 Melbourne, VIC (role based in Shepparton, approx. 2-hour drive from Melbourne)

We are seeking a motivated Locum Physiotherapist to join a supportive healthcare team in Shepparton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about aged care, rehabilitation, and community-focused healthcare.

About the Role

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 38 hours per week (Mon–Fri)

Pay: $45–50 per hour + Super

Location: Shepparton (approx. 2 hours from Melbourne)

Accommodation: Provided at no cost

Duration: 6–12 weeks (minimum 6–8 weeks) to cover permanent recruitment

Key Responsibilities

Provide physiotherapy within a residential aged care setting with a rehab-focused approach.

Complete functional and mobility assessments, care plans, falls prevention strategies, and equipment reviews.

Support sub-acute hospital beds and TACP caseloads, with the option to cover acute beds if desired.

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.

Experience in aged care, rehab, or sub-acute settings is highly regarded.

Strong assessment, care planning, and communication skills.

Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and work both independently and within a team.
