About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Physiotherapist to join a dynamic Physiotherapy Department in a hospital setting in North Queensland. This role involves delivering high-quality physiotherapy care, primarily focused on an acute caseload across various hospital wards and units.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management to patients with acute health conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, to deliver patient-centered care.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including post-surgical, medical, and other acute conditions requiring physiotherapy.
• Support rehabilitation and recovery goals tailored to each patient's needs.
• Document patient care, progress notes, and reports accurately in compliance with hospital policies and standards

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
• Current general AHPRA registration (essential)
• Australian working rights (essential)
• National Police Clearance
• Min 2 years' experience in the field
