Oatley Red Bear Preschool is a family run boutique early learning centre.

We are rated EXCEEDING in all 7 Quality Areas.

We have a collaborative working environment.

The owner works in the centre, along with our centre manager and office administrator.

We nurture and invest in our teams and provide a family experience for our employees.

We cater for 39 children aged 2-5 years old per day.

We close for 3 weeks over Christmas / Summer (paid)

Our hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm.

We pay ABOVE the award and based on qualifications and expertise.

Our centre has exceptional educational resources and a stunning natural outdoor playground that creates a loving and nurturing environment. This is a boutique centre where staff, children and families aren’t just a number but part of our extended family.

Qualifications & experience

Is an excellent communicator, with highly developed written and verbal skills.

Has experience of 3+ years and hold a Diploma (or Cert 111) Qualification.

Must have experience working with 2-3 yr old age group.

Positive leader who up holds our values at all times.

Proven willingness to learn and improve.

Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.

Drive for professional success.

Current First Aid including CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma and Current Working with Children Check.

Tasks & responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment for families and support them to feel a sense of belonging within our community.

Supporting junior educators with providing high quality care and education.

Commitment to early years learning and best practice

Have solid knowledge of the NQF, ELYF and Programming.

Work with a team of educators and inspire them to be exceptional by role modelling best practice, creating harmony, productivity and success.

We close for THREE PAID weeks over Christmas.

Salary Package ABOVE the award and based on qualifications and expertise.

Position is permanent full-time or part-time.

3 hours for programming time each week.

Monthly rostered day off (RDO).

Team appreciation days.

Our hours of operation are 7.30am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Plenty of parking is available and we are a short walk from the Oatley Railway station and shopping village.

Time in lieu for team meetings

Staff training is paid for.

Uniforms provided.
