About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant or Manager to join our Data Science team within the Psychosocial Risk Consulting unit. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in psychology, research, and data science, who is passionate about using data to improve workplace mental health and wellbeing.

You will play a key role in analysing complex datasets, interpreting findings, and contributing to high-impact client reports that identify psychosocial risks and recommend evidence-based strategies for mitigation. Working with the Head of Data Science, you will collaborate closely with consultants to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the analysis and reporting of psychosocial risk data using statistical and/or computational methods.

Collaborate with consultants to interpret findings and co-author client reports with clear, actionable insights and recommendations.

Design and implement processes for data preparation and the production of visualisations and data tables.

Apply psychological theory and research methods to contextualize data insights.

Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.

Support the development and adoption of new methodologies, technologies (e.g., AI / LLMs) and frameworks for supporting the Psychosocial Risk Consulting unit.

Experience and Qualifications

You bring a unique blend of analytical rigor, psychological insight, and communication skills. You’re comfortable working with data, writing reports, and engaging with stakeholders to solve real-world problems.

Required

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong research skills, including experience with study design, data analysis, and interpretation.

Demonstrated experience writing professional reports or publications.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience working in consulting or with business clients.

Highly Desired (non-mandatory)

Proficiency in Python coding and data visualisation tools.

Familiarity with psychosocial risk frameworks, workplace mental health, and/or work, health and safety legislation.

Experience with survey design and psychometrics.

Working Conditions
While FlourishDx is Perth-based (SOR), this role is work-from-anywhere. We support collaboration and asynchronous work through a range of software solutions. We also provide an annual WFH budget to improve your at home working conditions.
