We are a young, fast-growing luxury event hire company run by husband-and-wife team. We specialize in high-end backdrops, balloon installations, and faux florals for everything from baby showers and birthdays to brand launches and corporate celebrations. Our mission is simple — to create event backdrops that wow.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Event Hire & Styling Assistant to help us prepare, style, and deliver our stunning event setups. You’ll be working both behind the scenes in our warehouse and on location at beautiful venues across Brisbane and surrounds.

This is a casual role, approx. 15 hours per week (Friday–Monday), with the potential to move into part-time or full-time after 6–12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

Cleaning, organising, and maintaining event equipment in our warehouse

Inflating and building balloon garlands, creating faux floral arrangements, painting, and other prep work for weekend jobs.

Driving to event locations and assisting with on-site setups and packdowns

Providing admin support, including answering enquiries, weekly scheduling, and stock ordering

Assisting with late-night pack-downs when required

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Attention to detail and pride in presentation

Great time management and reliability

Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Comfortable with heavy lifting

Valid Australian car licence and ability to drive our company van (2.7m high)

Preferred but not essential:

Previous events industry experience

An eye for design and styling
