We are looking for a registered nurse to work on a full time permanent basis at our homely facility at Southern Cross Care Mawson Court | Caves Beach NSW 2281.

The Role

We are seeking a registered nurse to work on a full time permanent basis to cover the following below fornightly shifts:

Week 1 & 2

0700-1515 Monday, Tuesday Saturday

1500-2230 Wednesday Thursday

Please note: Only candidates with aged care RN experience with full Australian working rights will be considered.

The role will incorporate:

Complete holistic assessments

Developing appropriate care plans

Evaluating and making clinical decisions

Guiding our care staff

Improving the quality of life of our Residents

You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who endeavors to provide safe and effective direct nursing care in line with nursing best practice principles.

To achieve this, you will have:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated Aged Care/Hospital experience

Availability to work a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night duties

Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with a range of Residents with a variety of health issues

A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with older people

Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions
