Dogdayz is Melbourne’s leading provider of premium dog boarding services - and we are expanding! We need enthusiastic, capable, and caring staff to join our teams at our established Warrandyte site and at our new location soon to open in Melbourne’s South East.

These are hands-on, responsible roles for mature-minded, reliable staff who share our passion for animals and people.

Available roles

There is a variety of physically active roles, from Kennel attendants to Duty Manager – all requiring confidence with dogs and strong customer service skills.

Casual basis initially (25–38 hours per week), with genuine opportunity for early advancement into permanent senior roles.

$32–$35 per hour + superannuation + penalty rates.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily dog care: feeding, exercising, monitoring health and wellbeing.

Safe dog handling and responding to behavioural concerns.

Customer service.

Cleaning, repair and maintenance, and general site duties.

Transporting dogs where required.

About You

You will have one or more of the following:

Animal handling experience (professional or personal).

Staff management experience.

Animal industry qualifications or knowledge.

Trade skills or relevant strong work history.

Above all, you will need to demonstrate:

Confidence in handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments.

A genuine commitment to animal care.

Availability to work 3–5 days per week across a 7-day roster, including school holidays and public holidays.
