CQUniversity’s School of Medical and Applied Sciences is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced academic to contribute to the delivery and development of our Medical Science programs.
In this role, you will focus on teaching within the Medical Science discipline which includes teaching into Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Medical Science (Pathway to Medicine), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Nutrition. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, tutorials, laboratories and practical sessions, coordinating units, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning.
You’ll contribute to a wide range of medical science subjects, such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology and pharmacology, while pursuing research and scholarly activity aligned with your expertise. Engaging with industry partners to enhance clinical placements and student outcomes will also be part of your role.

Position Requirements
Doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline.
Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
Understanding of higher education issues and the ability to collaborate effectively across the University.
Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches.
A strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the School’s research initiatives.
