Rawa Community School is inviting applications for Early Childhood and Generalist Teachers, for Immediate Start and 2026 positions. Based in the remote Aboriginal communities of Kunawarritji and Punmu (East Pilbara, WA), these positions offer a truly unique and rewarding experience.

We are a Martu community-led school dedicated to two-way learning, combining Manyjilyjarra and English/Western approaches. Our classrooms are collaborative spaces where local Martu Language Teachers work alongside educators to deliver culturally responsive, engaging programs.

Who We’re Looking For

Experienced teachers (remote/regional Aboriginal community experience highly valued) OR those seeking to genuinely learn and build experience teaching in remote communities - new graduates and early career teachers are encouraged to apply.

Teachers competent in trauma-informed practices

Flexible, culturally respectful educators and support staff

Available for an immediate start or to join our 2026 Teaching Pool

Willing to live and work in a very remote setting - independent, resilient and a team player.

TRBWA registered (or suitably qualified and eligible to gain TRBWA registration)

Hold a current Working With Children Check
