Construction Site Manager – Mechanical
📍Bendigo | 🔁 3:1 FIFO/DIDO Roster | 📅 3-Month Contract

We’re looking for a hands-on Construction Manager to lead site-based delivery of civil works on a major gold mine infrastructure project near the Bendigo - Victoria area.

This role is ideal for someone who’s just as comfortable out on site as they are in a planning meeting—overseeing equipment installs, managing crews, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to spec.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations across civil / Mecanical scopes

Oversee subcontractors and lead site teams for structural and equipment install

Monitor program, drive productivity, and uphold safety and quality standards

Interface with project engineers, procurement, and client reps

Troubleshoot on-site issues and maintain accurate records and reporting

About You

Extensive experience delivering civil works on mine or heavy industrial projects

Strong leadership on site, including crew and subcontractor coordination

Solid background in equipment install, structural concrete, foundations, and earthworks

Trade-qualified or technically trained

Comfortable leading from the front—boots on the ground when needed
