About the Opportunity
Join our Stormwater Maintenance Team and play a vital role in maintaining and improving Gawler’s stormwater infrastructure. Your work will ensure effective water flow management while minimizing environmental impacts.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on stormwater drains, culverts, and associated infrastructure.
Monitor stormwater systems for compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Respond promptly to weather-related incidents, implementing effective solutions.
Assist in planning and delivering minor infrastructure projects.
Operate machinery and tools required for maintenance tasks.
About You
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality services to the community.
You will have
Experience in civil maintenance, drainage, or a related field.
A strong understanding of stormwater systems and their environmental importance.
A positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
A current MR Driver’s License.
A White Card and relevant safety training (desirable).
A commitment to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Town of Gawler is essential.
