Cali Support Services is seeking passionate and EXPERIENCED Caucasian FEMALE Disability Support Worker to join our team to support an array of clients throughout Western Sydney. This is a casual role that will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with disability, providing personalized support to help them live independently and achieve their goals.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores

Supporting clients to access the community, participate in social and recreational activities, and develop independent living skills

Advocating for clients' needs and preferences, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to monitor client progress and outcomes

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and supportive environment

What we're looking for

Candidates that have a strong background in supporting CHILDREN & ADULTS WHO ARE LIVING WITH PSYCHOSOCIAL BARRIER.

Candidates who are compassionate, who can hold boundaries, stay calm in tough situations

A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field is desirable

Previous experience in a similar disability support role, with a demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with disability

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of each client

A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with disability

A current driver's license and access to reliable transportation
