Vault Protective Security Services is an established West Australian security provider, specialising in delivering exceptional security services to the Hospitality sector. With a strong presence in Perth since 2011, we have established ourselves as the preferred security partner for prominent venues, Government entities and high-profile clients.

Vault boasts a large pool of highly skilled Crowd Controllers servicing a variety of hospitality venues across Perth CBD, Northern and Southern regions. We are currently seeking Crowd Controllers to join our team and work consistently at our prestigious venues. We are specifically looking licenced Professionals who are highly trained in Control & Restraint methods with experience in leadership roles to maintain the high quality standards within our existing teams.

This opportunity is ideal for those who have proven experience in crowd control and thrive in high-paced hospitality environments. We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated leadership qualities as a Head Doorman, 2IC, or in solo placements, and who can set the standard for those around them. At the same time, we encourage newer guards with a strong presence, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn to apply. Vault provides a pathway for high-potential guards to grow their skills, gain valuable experience, and develop into leadership roles alongside some of Perth’s best security professionals.

What we’re looking for:

• Guards with strong presence and authority while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage difficult situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent radio communication skills and the ability to listen, follow and provide clear instructions.
• Team players who can also take initiative and lead when required.
• Guards with proactive energy and willingness to learn.
• Candidates with a proven background in leadership roles in security or other roles will be highly regarded.

We also strongly encourage military veterans that hold a current security licence to apply. We value the unique skills, dedication, and experience that veterans bring to the industry.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional and professional customer service with clientele.
• Screen patrons entering and exiting the premises.
• Control patron behaviour in and around the premises to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, and guards.
• De-escalate potential conflict and expertly escort patrons out of venues using appropriate methods.
• Ability to use control & restraint methods with reasonable force when required.
• Report in detail any incidents in line with legislation and relevant policies and procedures
• Conduct emergency evacuations & perform first aid and/or CPR where applicable.
• Regularly attend Control & Restraint workshops.

Skills and qualifications:

• Valid WA Crowd Control license required
• Valid First Aid Certificate required
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA) required
• Rights to work in Australia required
• Weekend availability in the evening essential
• Proficient in English communication and de-escalation essential
• Defence Force experience highly regarded
• Amateur or professional martial arts training highly regarded
• 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership position in Crowd Control highly regarded
