Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in distribution design both underground and overhead to join a leading engineering consultancy on a permanent, full-time basis in Perth CBD Office, offering flexible work arrangements and leadership opportunities across major energy infrastructure projects.

This is a key technical leadership position that will see you working on UG/OH distribution design for both greenfield and brownfield utility and mining projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Overhead distribution design modelling 415V to 33kV
• Underground distribution extensions
• Underground distribution network upgrades
• Site inspections including:
• Preparation of design packages for client approval
• Preparation Bills of materials and estimation
• Training and support of junior team members
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Apply content and application of local utility standards
• Demonstrate design innovation and cost optimization as part of the design process
• Scoping notes
• Survey
• Soil resistivity measurements

About You:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Demonstrated experience with local power utilities
• Skills to work independently
• CAD Software proficiency in AutoCAD
• 5 to 10 years of Experience in electrical design of distribution networks
