Automotive Repair and Maintenance

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Qualified LV Mechanic in Bayswater, WA 6053. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable dealership within the Automotive Repair and Maintenance sector. The role will focus on servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of passenger vehicles, ensuring customers receive high-quality and reliable service.

About the role:

We are looking for candidates who have solid experience in light vehicle servicing and repairs, ideally within a dealership environment. You will be responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance, diagnosing faults, and performing mechanical and electrical repairs. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and is looking to establish themselves long-term in a dealership setting. The workshop is equipped with modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer-approved systems to support accurate and efficient work.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing light vehicle issues across a variety of models.
• Ability to read and interpret workshop manuals and service bulletins.
• Experience in carrying out routine servicing, safety checks, and vehicle inspections.
• Strong diagnostic skills using dealership-standard diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a dealership team.
• A mechanical aptitude with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

• Have the right to work in Australia.
• Hold an LV Mechanic trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
• A valid driver’s licence.
