About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team at Armadale Mower World in Kelmscott, WA. As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of petrol-powered equipment, including ride on mowers lawn mowers, chainsaws, whipper-snippers, and other outdoor power tools. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with small petrol-powered engines

Performing routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of small engine equipment

Repairing and small engines as required

Effectively communicating with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions

Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in small engine repair or automotive mechanics

Extensive experience in the diagnosis, repair, and servicing of small petrol-powered engines

Strong technical and problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
