Civil Supervisor - FIFO

Minecon Recruitment is partnering with a leading construction and engineering company to find an experienced Civil Supervisor for an immediate start on a major project in Cloncurry, Queensland. This client has over 40 years of industry expertise and delivers projects across the Resources, Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy sectors.

About the Project & Opportunity

You'll be working on the design and construction of a new 454-person accommodation village at a copper mine poised to become the largest new metal mine in North West Queensland. The project includes accommodation units, central facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, roads, drainage, bulk earthworks, and associated infrastructure.

We encourage local Cloncurry residents to apply, however, FIFO arrangements are available for the right candidate. An above-market hourly rate will be offered, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate crews to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Manage labour, materials, and equipment to support project outcomes.

Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Assist with planning and scheduling to maximize productivity.

Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5+ years' experience in a civil construction supervisory role.

Current S1, S2, S3 & G2 qualifications.

Strong technical knowledge of civil construction methods, equipment, and materials.

Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams to meet project objectives.

Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessing is highly desirable.
