Make a real difference every day
At Better Health Network (BHN), we believe everyone deserves the chance to live their best life. Our Adult Community Options (ACO) program empowers adults with disability to connect, grow, and thrive through meaningful activities in our centres and the community.
We’re on the lookout for passionate Disability Support Workers who want to make a positive impact, supporting people to achieve their goals, build independence, and enjoy greater social inclusion.
About the Role
As a Client Support Professional, you’ll:
- Provide group and one-on-one support in our centres, homes, and community settings.
- Support clients to participate in activities that reflect their goals, strengths, and interests.
- Deliver personal care and assist with daily living, always upholding dignity, choice, and human rights.
- Work with a dedicated team to create safe, inclusive, and empowering experiences for every client.
About Our Service
Cheltenham – 299 Centre Dandenong Rd, Cheltenham
We provide inclusive and engaging programs for adults with high physical and intellectual support needs. Our clients are supported to live with dignity, purpose, and connection — whether they use wheelchairs, require specialised meal plans, or benefit from tailored communication support. Each day combines meaningful activities with high-quality personal care, ensuring every individual feels valued and empowered. Our approach focuses on active participation, respect, and recognising each person’s unique worth, while also delivering high-intensity personal care when needed.
Parkdale – 335 Nepean Hwy, Parkdale
At Parkdale, we support adults with a mix of intellectual disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities. While some clients may present behaviours of concern, these are well supported through positive behaviour support practices that enhance each person’s rights, choice, and control.
The focus at Parkdale is on empowerment — supporting each individual to engage meaningfully, build independence, and be recognised for their strengths and potential. Every day is about creating opportunities for clients to grow, connect, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment, where they are truly seen, heard, and valued as individuals
