ABOUT YOU

This role requires energetic individuals who seek to make a difference in residents' daily living. Although this is a back of house role, meals are sometimes the residents favourite part of the day so we want individuals who can put a smile on the resident’s faces

You need to be a very active person as you are on your feet for most of your shift!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Food Service Assistant (FSA) you will learn new skills as you connect and build quality relationships with individuals across a variety of aged care homes, enhancing everyone’s quality of life.

Prepare, present and deliver delicious food and beverages to residents in accordance with Facility Food Safety Policies

Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen

Sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, benches & cutlery and disposing of rubbish

Setting the dining room for daily meals – you may get to engage with the lovely residents, so a bubbly personality is a must

Adhering to and supporting WH&S and general Food Safety Compliance activities

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

6 months paid experience in an Aged Care Facility

A Food Handlers Certificate (FHS) is essential.

Current National Employment Police Check

Covid vaccinated as per state government requirements

Driver’s license and your own reliable transport

Be willing to complete mandatory training through Crewe Sharp's onboarding process
