Exciting opportunity to join our Nursing Australia team. We are seeking qualified, motivated Patient Services Assistants (Food & Domestic Services Assistants, Cleaners &/or Orderlys) to join our casual team to service clients in the Mental Health space. You will be an integral member of our team and provide patient centric cleaning duties, food & beverage services, and patient support.

• Casual Weekday Shifts
• Dayshift, Afternoon shift, Night shift.
• Weekend shifts are also available

Please note: Nursing Australia will be able to offer shifts in the Parkville area of Melbourne, as well as sites further into the north-west in Daylesford, Kyneton and Creswick

You will be a resilient, hard working & compassionate individual with the ability to relate to those in your care. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Health Services Assistant Certificate lll, or equivalent
• Current Food Handling Certificate
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to acknowledge patients' diet codes
• Be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public
• Have valid references from within the last 6 months

You will also be required to provide evidence of:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
• Verified current influenza vaccination & COVID Vaccinations
