Position: Contracting Speech Therapist
About Us:
We are a dedicated young team committed to providing exceptional therapy services to individuals in need and building parent's confidence in supporting their children's development. We deliver services to children aged 18 months to 17 years old. We work closely with families to provide a holistic approach and pride ourselves in delivering personalized care to each client, helping them achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders.
Provide guidance and support to clients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in therapy sessions and carry over strategies at home.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Applied science (Speech Pathology) or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current member of Speech Pathology Australia
Prior experience working with children, specifically with additional needs preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the field
Drivers license and own vehicle
