About the Role:

Whitehaven are seeking a talented Specialist - Mine Scheduling to join the Mine Scheduling team at our Daunia Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Scheduling, you will play an integral role in all drill and blast activities as well as gaining exposure to autonomous haulage.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, optimise, and communicate drill and blast designs to support production.
• Execute weekly planning processes and maintain accurate schedules for drill and blast activities.
• Identify and implement operational improvements, and drive initiatives that enhance performance across site.
• Drive a strong safety culture through field leadership activities and proactive engagement across teams.

What You'll Bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in drill and blast or execution
• Proficiency in industry software including BlastIQ, Spry, Deswik and Vulcan.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
• A proactive, flexible approach with a track record of meeting deadlines and solving problems in dynamic environments.
