About the role

Join the dedicated team at, At Ease Community Nursing as a part-time Registered Nurse. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of ADF veterans and their families within the Townsville community. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality nursing care and support in a community-based setting.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised nursing care and support to clients in their homes and within the community and educating clients on health management and disease prevention

Assessing client needs, developing, implementing and reviewing care plans, and monitoring client progress, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Collaborating with doctors, OT's and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care

Administering medications and treatments

Mentoring and supervising nursing team members and actively participating in team activities

What we're looking for

A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Demonstrated experience in the capacity of a Registered Nurse. Wound care and mental health experience will be considered favourably.

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

A deep commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care

Ability to work early starts and on call duties each second weekend.

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
