Registered Psychologist
Cheltenham (new Bayside clinic)
Join a Team That’s Changing the Face of Male Mental Health
At Blokes Psychology, we specialise in supporting the mental health of men across Melbourne and beyond. With thriving clinics in Hawthorn and Cheltenham, and a growing national Telehealth presence, we’ve spent over 7 years breaking down stigma and making therapy more approachable for men.
We're not just another private practice, we’re a values-driven team that genuinely believes in work-life balance, strong clinical support, and a down-to-earth culture. When our team feels supported and enjoys their work, clients benefit; and that’s what we care about most.
Why We’re Hiring
We’re moving into a brand-new Bayside clinic (Cheltenham) in early October, and with the growth in referrals, we’re looking for additional Psychologists to join the team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working primarily with adults (and optionally kids & adolescents), thrives in a private practice environment, and values being part of a supportive, relaxed team where the admin is handled for you.
The Role
Intervention-focused role (common presentations: mood, anxiety, stress, adjustment, addictions, relationships, ADHD, ASD)
Assessments welcome but not essential
Choose employee or contractor structure
Why Blokes Psychology?
Competitive above-award salary or contractor rates – based on experience
Flexibility & work-life balance – we’ll work with your ideal schedule
Incredible team culture – supportive, relaxed, and values-driven
Clinical development – PD budget, frequent external PD, regular group, peer & individual supervision
Admin sorted – on-site admin + VA support so you can focus on therapy
Opportunities to grow – particularly in men’s mental health, with scope to contribute to other aspects of the business beyond clinical work.
Who We’re Looking For
Psychologist (General or Clinical) registered with AHPRA (Registrars welcome to apply)
Medicare provider eligibility (essential)
Experience working with adults (and ideally older adolescents)
Confident managing common presentations such as anxiety, mood, ADHD, ASD, stress, and life transitions
Bonus if you can provide assessments and/or intervention for child/adolescent clients
(e.g. ADHD, cognitive, diagnostic)
Warm, reliable, and team-oriented
You don’t need direct experience in “men’s mental health” - just an interest in working with males and a desire to make a difference.
We encourage applications from Psychologists of all genders and backgrounds.
Important: This position is not suitable for provisional psychologists or interns.
Keep an eye on our socials for an upcoming EOI for our 2026 6th Year Internship Program.
Keen to Apply?

Your CV
A 1–2 minute video intro & cover letter, no scripts or polish needed, just say hi and give us a sense of who you are and why you’re keen to join us!
Your ideal work setup (days/times/contractor or employee)
📅 Interviews will be offered as suitable applications are received.
🗓 Commencement dates are flexible from mid/late October onwards.
