The organisation:

4 Healthcare Recruitment are working with a leading school in Melbourne's North. This education setting caters to school aged children, and has a focus on pupil wellbeing. This school prides itself on being a welcoming, safe and inclusive educational environment, where each student's uniqueness is valued, respected and fostered.

The opportunity:

An opportunity exists for a psychologist to join their student services team, in a full time capacity in the 'Lead Psychologist' role.

• Full time, ongoing position (.8 would be considered for the right applicant)
• 35 hours a week
• Extended annual leave / School holidays
• Working with school aged children, on campus - assessment, intervention, working with school staff
• Leadership; you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating a small multidisciplinary team, as part of a leadership team within the school community
• Help to design and drive the future of student wellbeing within this school setting

You:

Ideally you will have had experience working within a school setting as a psychologist - though this is preferred and not essential. You will have a growth mindset, and expertise in best psychological practises for adolescents.

You will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification, and full AHPRA registration
• Experience working with young people in a mental health context
• Educational and development endorsement preferred but not essential
• 3+ years working in a psychology role
• Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain)
